Newport Conveyancing Company continues pioneering charity links by raising over £680.00
Specialist Conveyancing Company, Convey Law, based on Stow Hill in Newport has held its annual fundraising day for Sport Relief. The whole office took part in a sport themed dress down day to raise over £680.00 on the day.
In addition to the dress down, which all 80 staff members contributed £2.00 each, the company also held a raffle, cake auction and internal sports day to raise funds for the charity. The sports day featured timeless classics such as ‘egg and spoon’ and ‘three legged’ races much to the amusement of the staff at the company. One staff member, Thomas Herbert even had his chest waxed by his colleagues raising over £150.00 in sponsorship in the process.
Convey Law have a proud history of fundraising, having recently surpassed the £175,000.00 mark in total fundraising over the last 4 years. This year the company has set a £50,000.00 fundraising target with over £10,000.00 of that expected to come from sponsorship of their Conveyancer, Geraint Aubrey, who will be tackling 3 of the highest peaks in the Alps in support of Cancer Research later this year.
